Amélie and Henri ABTEY found the Abtey chocolate factory in a small 20 sqm shop located in Mulhouse (Alsace, France).

Launching of our speciality : the liqueur-filled chocolate guaranteed without sugar crust.

Construction of a new chocolate factory on 3,000 sqm in Heimsbrunn.

Odette Abtey succeeds her father at the head of the chocolate factory. Size of the storage area: 7,500 sqm

Abtey enters big chainsof stores and expands its buildings.

Anne-Catherine Wagner, Henri Abtey’s granddaughter, takes over the company’s operational management.
